Brittany Danielle Cowan is a strategic communications and marketing professional with experience in higher education, academic communications, digital storytelling, and multimedia content development. She currently serves as Communications and Marketing Content Manager for the UNC School of Education, where she develops audience-focused communications that elevate academic programs, research, student experiences, and educational impact.

Cowan earned her bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication with a concentration in Journalism and a minor in English Writing from North Carolina Central University. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Digital Communication from the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media, with an expected graduation in Spring 2027. Her graduate studies build upon her professional experience in strategic communications, digital media, research, and audience engagement.
